At RedShift Radio I have had to learn broadcasting software such as Myriad, compared to Storm FM's Autoplus. I also had experience of using Burli whilst on a placement at Heart FM in Wrexham.
Between September 2013 and May 2014 I also spent time at the Chester Leader and District standard, in this time I worked on various leads, down pages, and even a front page splash.
In April 2014, I started a blog called On The Fence, our coverage of Focus Wales, a music festival in Wrexham was able to gain in excess of 900 views in the first two weeks.
In October 2014, I took the role of Studio Assistant at RedShift Radio. This involved greater responsibilities such as editing radio broadcasts for SoundCloud and Mixcloud, more interviewing and outside events, and general behind-the-scenes production roles.
